2012 Advocate Training Schedule
All trainings will be held at the CASA office, located at 75 Higuera, Suite 180, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, unless otherwise specified. You will need to complete all 30 hours of training to be sworn in as a CASA.
January / February – Evening Class in San Luis Obispo
Class starts on Saturday, January 28, from 9AM to 4 PM and continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings January 31, February 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, and 23 from 6 PM until 9 PM. The swearing-in ceremony date and time TBD.
March - Day Class in San Luis ObispoMarch 12, 14, 16, 19 and 21. All sessions will be from 9 AM to 4 PM with a one-hour break for lunch. The swearing-in ceremony date and time TBD. This class will meet at Coast Hills Federal Credit Union, 751 Marsh Street, San Luis Obispo.
August – Day Class in Atascadero
August 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29. All sessions will be from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a one-hour break for lunch. The swearing-in ceremony date and time TBD. This class will meet at the Atascadero Bible Church, 6225 Atascadero Mall, Atascadero
October - Evening Class in San Luis Obispo
Class starts on Saturday, October 6, from 9AM to 4 PM and continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings October 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and November 1 from 6 PM until 9 PM. The swearing-in ceremony date and time TBD.
Note: Each CASA training class consists of 30 classroom hours. |
